It used to be so calm here. Rain. Rain. Rain. We can handle rain.

This month and a half of cold, snow and wind is getting out of control. Today, I was driving with extreme difficulty in ~100kms/hr wind as the traffic lights flipped backwards. I found my umbrella (that was sitting on the porch) atop a tree down the block. This tree down the block was toppled and as I snapped the pic, it started to hail.

I haven't been able to bring myself to visit Stanley Park yet. *sob*

yowza! this fall/winter has been totally insane. i feel like we're in the twilight zone or something, and i've been spending far too much time stuck inside, pouting about the weather!

yup, and another snow day today. its real purdy, at least. and i always prefer having a ton of snow on the ground than having rain and wind whipping around me. i am not a driver though, would be different if i had to drive around in the stuff.

time to go hunting in the blizzard for a vanilla americano...
