It used to be so calm here. Rain. Rain. Rain. We can handle rain.

This month and a half of cold, snow and wind is getting out of control. Today, I was driving with extreme difficulty in ~100kms/hr wind as the traffic lights flipped backwards. I found my umbrella (that was sitting on the porch) atop a tree down the block. This tree down the block was toppled and as I snapped the pic, it started to hail.

I haven't been able to bring myself to visit Stanley Park yet. *sob*

I am amazed we have any trees left on the coast at all.
Apparently we have another bout of snow scheduled for tomorrow. Meanwhile, we're going through another windstorm today. I can't wait for it to start raining frogs.

yowza! this fall/winter has been totally insane. i feel like we're in the twilight zone or something, and i've been spending far too much time stuck inside, pouting about the weather!

It's crazy. I moved here to get away from the prairie wind. It calmed down enough for me to bike home at around 9:00 tonight, but before that it was snowing.
